Our Food City School Bucks program starts Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, and runs through Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.

Parents/supporters can now link their Food City ValuCard to the school of their choice. Food City is donating $800,000 to area schools participating in this program.
To date, Food City has contributed nearly $24 million to regional schools!

Please remember that Food City no longer links ValuCards at the register. Parents/supporters must visit their Food City account to link online. Please click on the link below to register your card:

The Daniel Boone MCJROTC program has been presented the Marine Corps Reserve Association (MCRA) award as the nation’s best unit in high schools between 1,000-1200 students. This is the unit’s 12th such designation. No other program in the nation has received more than 5 MCRA awards. The MCJROTC Marksmanship team participated in the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) national championships at Port Clinton, Ohio in June, taking 3rd place among the nation’s best marksmanship teams. Team members are Brooklyn Zeigler, Connor Rowan, Xavier Bray, and Mackenzie Cole Cadet Cooper Castle attended the American Legion Boys State convention in Nashville in June. Cooper was elected governor and chosen to attend Boys Nation in Washington DC in July. He is the 1st DBHS student to attend BoysNation. Cooper also was nominated for and attended the Four Star Leaders conference in Oklahoma in July. Conor Rowan and Xavier Bray competed in the American Legion national individual marksmanship championships in Hillsdale, Michigan in July, taking 4th and 9th places respectively.
