National children’s health organization Alliance for a Healthier Generation today unveiled its 2026 list of America’s Healthiest Schools, celebrating 1,376 K–12 schools nationwide for their commitment to advancing whole child health, including all 12 Washington County Schools.
Supported by Del Monte Foods, Kaiser Permanente, and Kohl’s Cares, Healthier Generation’s annual award program recognizes schools for implementing evidence-based policies and practices to support academic success and lifelong well-being. Schools are recognized in nine health-related topic areas. All 12 schools were awarded in the category: Supporting School Health Services.

2026/27 School Supply Lists
Project L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) has been an on-going class for 5th graders in conjunction with the Washington County Sheriff's Office. SRO Officer Mike and Mrs. Starlett have been working with students to complete learning units about drug resistance. Tomorrow, Tuesday May 19 at 1:30 pm, these 5th grade Cardinals will graduate with their L.E.A.D. certficates! GO CARDINALS!
As this year's Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we are humbly reminded of how WONDERFUL the Fall Branch and surrounding communities are when it comes to supporting our school. This week, our teachers and staff have received some very kind gestures in the way of gifts, plants, breakfasts, lunches, treats, and gift cards. Our faculty and staff are overwheled at the love and support you've shown to make this week one to show your generosity and love.
