## Community Update: Transition of Services **Relocation of Resources** This morning, a meeting was held with South Central community leadership and local leaders to discuss the ongoing situation. We are pleased to announce that Liberty Church will be taking over the distribution of materials currently located at South Central. **Service Transitions** In the coming days, the following services and resources will be relocated to Liberty Church: - Shower facilities - Meal services - All support services - Distribution of materials, including: - Water - Shoes, Clothing - Food - Cleaning supplies - Other essential items and resources **School Reopening** This transition will allow South Central school to prepare for reopening after fall break. Students are expected to return on October 14. **Addressing Rumors** We want to clarify that rumors regarding FEMA and Red Cross taking over or confiscating resources are unfounded and counterproductive. These organizations are not involved in the current transition process. **Resource Management** All resources currently at South Central will be transferred to Liberty Church. This transition will occur as water service begins to be restored in the area. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. Please stay tuned for further updates as we work to serve our community.

Due to the predicted historic weather event including heavy rains and high winds, school and all extracurricular activities have been canceled for tomorrow, Friday, September 27th, 2024. The David Crockett High School leadership team has decided to combine senior night and homecoming on Friday, October 18th, 2024 at the home football game against Morristown West. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to all who are involved in homecoming festivities including the canceling of hair/make-up appointments, etc. The football game against West Ridge will be played at home on Monday, September 30th, 2024 with kick-off at 6PM. The Pioneer Band Festival will still be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. The choral concert will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 at 7:30 PM in the theater.
