Families will learn where to start now.

TOPIC:  Using Transition Services (MAPs, ECF Choices, Inclusive Higher Education Programs, etc.) to create future planning for high school students with disabilities after graduation.

2:00 Sharon Potter, Vocational Rehabilitation

TOPIC:  An in-depth look at Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)—two critical frameworks designed to bridge the gap between education and independent employment.

3:00 Penny Johnson, The Center for Decision-Making Support

TOPIC:  Understanding Decision-Making Supports (conservatorships, powers of attorney, special needs trusts, etc) and how to incorporate supported decision-making into the lives of students with disabilities.
