Teacher appreciation week

From Mr. Boyd, Superintendent

"Happy National Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week is a reminder of the incredible impact you make every day in the lives of your students and our community. Your dedication, creativity, and passion for teaching inspire a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

You encourage growth in each of your students, foster curiosity, and empower the next generation to dream big. The challenges you face are immense, but your resilience shines through. Remember, the seeds you plant today will grow into remarkable opportunities for your students tomorrow.

Thank you for your hard work every day, leadership in your profession, and unwavering commitment to your students. You are truly making a difference!"

From Chad Fleenor, School Board Member

"Congratulations to everyone as we are counting down the last days until this school year is over. As we come into Teacher Appreciation Week, I wanted to say thank you to all our team members. It’s should be appreciation for all in education every day and all year long.

As this year comes to a close, we appreciate all the hard work that has been completed this year. You will never know the impact on most and maybe never in your lifetime. Some of you are going to retire, some will transfer to other jobs, and some will be in the same classroom or school next year. Whatever the case may be, thank you for helping our most precious kids.

May you enjoy the upcoming summer and we are counting on you again next year to be a difference in another child’s life."

From Gregg Huddlestone, School Board Member

"In honor of National Teachers’ Week, I would like to thank each of you for all that you do for the students in your class. The role of a teacher is much more than imparting knowledge and you display it every day by the many things you do.

Throughout the school year you serve as listeners, counselors, mediators, advisors, motivators, and probably the most important function, that of a role model. I appreciate all the time you give to your students as you work the extra hours after school or at home preparing

your lessons or grading papers.

From my own experience as a teacher, I know what you do each and every day and I am grateful that you are working in our school system."

From David Hammond, School Board Vice-Chair

"As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to thank our teachers for your hard work and dedication to our students.

Thank you for showing each child that they matter, that they have potential, that they are loved and supported regardless of the circumstances or challenges they may face. The above will never be reflected on standardized tests, but will impact our students for years to come.

Again, thank you for your service to our students and community!"
