Online Learning

Good Afternoon Families,

Over the next couple of weeks of our unexpected break we want our students to remain safe but also stay caught up on their school work. To help facilitate this, our teachers are currently working on resources and activities to provide you.

What can you expect?

Here is what you and your children should look for.

1.) By tomorrow morning, on BAND and your child's class website (which can be accessed by visiting www.wcde.org/jms)  you will have a list of online resources your students can visit for each subject, including their related arts classes.

2.) You will receive daily messages, on BAND that contains activities your child can do each day to stay caught up during their time at home.

3.) Your child's teacher(s) will explain their expectations and class requirements on BAND and on their webpage. Students will need to bring work back to school that was completed over the break in order to receive credit.  If a student’s teacher is using “Google Classroom”, students can submit their assignments from there.

4.)  Powerschool will not be updated until we return back to school and receive student work.

Stay safe and healthy. If you need anything or have any questions do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or myself.

Sincerely,

Brandon McKee

Principal
