Certified medical assistants work in physicians’ offices, clinics, or other healthcare facilities. They are responsible for performing physician support services that help ensure medical facilities run smoothly. Certified medical assistants may work in a clerical, administrative, or clinical capacity, and may even be asked to perform more specialized tasks.
In this program session, you will be certified by CCMA through the National Health Career Association-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. By earning the CCMA credential, you are showing prospective employers that you have met the rigorous standards of the Certifying Board.
Come join this session of CMA certification! Taught by a certified medical professional, you will learn the necessary skills to prepare you for certification with CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistants).
Classes are to be held at David Crockett High School in the Health Science Annex in back of the school and will run for 14 weeks-Mondays 5:00-8 pm.
The start date is January 28th--CLASS IS FULL!
Cost for the program is $900 which DOES NOT include the test.
