B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6)
Mrs. Ashley Delavega-Haren
This is my eighth year teaching sixth grade English and Language Arts and my third year teaching Social Studies at Ridgeview! I also coach girls soccer at Daniel Boone High School and track and field for the Ridgeview Raptors. I am a graduate of Jonesborough Elementary, Jonesborough Middle, and David Crockett. From there, I went on to attend ETSU in the fall of 2012 and graduated in 2016 with my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6).
Last October, my husband and I got married. He also teaches in Washington County. We reside in Fall Branch with our cats, George and Ollie, our chinchilla, Maverick, and all of our cattle. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, reading, and baking. In addition, I love going on random adventures, spending time with my family and friends, watching the Tennessee Volunteers in any sport, and naming calves on our farm!
Washington County is my home and where my heart belongs, and I am so thankful that I am able to teach in the county that I attended school. Inspired by my kindergarten teacher, I have kept a passion for learning and teaching since I was five years old. My goal is to inspire my students to find a passion for learning. I hope to create a learning environment where my students feel respected, valued, and loved by those around them each and every day. Also, I hope to motivate my students to NEVER GIVE UP! I cannot wait to share my passion with your amazing kids throughout the school year.
