W4JMS on the Air
Each year during the month of February Jonesborough Middle School students participate in the ARRL School Club Roundup. The students swap QSL cards from their respective schools and carry out social relationships.
Students are learning about radio propagation and are communicating with people all over the world. Strict rules and regulations are learned and adhered to with each contact. Each student must tune the equipment, make calls, and log the contacts. Cards are sent and checked off as they are received. The QSL cards are then mounted on the wall of our technology lab for display.
