• JMS ART CLUB

    The Art Club is a before school activity at JMS open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders REGARDLESS of prior art experience! Meetings are held each Tuesday morning from 7:00 am-7:40 am in the art room (Room 111).

    The JMS Art Club allows students to focus on creating their own artwork in a supportive and creative environment. This also includes the freedom to explore different art materials that are provided in the art classroom here at JMS. Our primary goal this year in Art Club is to give students a chance to work beside other students interested in art and be provided with feedback from their peers and their mentors. In the Art Club we also will be involved in working on community and school projects.

    The Art Club does not require you to attend all meetings, but would encourage members to come create when time is given. Members are required to bring their positive attitude and to abide by all of the art classroom rules and JMS rules. Failure to respect and follow these rules may result in dismissal from the Art Club.
