    This page will help your child with skills taught in the classroom. 

    Use the  Science and Social Studies Resources and Materials for any help needed to work with your child at home.

    • Attendance is critical to your child's education.
    • I know you can't help it when your child becomes sick.
    • However, if your child is absent, please call the office and I would be more than happy to leave missed work  for you to pick up.
    • When a student misses school, he/she is missing out on valuable instruction.
    • If at all possible, try to arrange  appointments at the end of the day.
    • I know it may not be best for your schedule, but I am only looking out for your child's best interest.  
    • Let's try for  Perfect Attendance. 

    Read!!! Read!!! Read!!!
    Write!!!! Write!!!!! Write!!!!   Reading to and with your child is extremely important. 

    • Reading is the key to unlocking new ideas and the success of their future.  
    • Reading helps your child to become a better writer and smarter.
    • Reading for 20-30 minutes each night is beneficial. 
    • Your child is required to read 25 books by the end of the year. 


    • Tennesse is working to improve our education system which is requiring more from the teacher, student, and parent.
    • We all have issues when it comes to change.
    • Working together as a team will help us get through all the changes they keep making.
    • Our state is looking at your child's future and working as a team will help to prepare them for their future. 

    Class Dojo:

    • Class Dojo is my way to communicate what is happening at school on a daily basis.  Mrs. Combs uses it as well to keep you informed.  Please sign up for Class Dojo checking daily for school information(homework, tests, parties, meetings, or announcements.
