Mrs. Duncan
Hello Families and Friends!
My name is Brooklyn Duncan, and I am the K-8 Interventionist at Ridgeview Elementary School. This is my seventh year teaching and my fifth year at Ridgeview. I am a 2016 graduate of Milligan College where I played soccer for the Lady Buffaloes all four years as a goalkeeper. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Youth Development with a concentration in Biology, as well as a license in Elementary Education. In December of 2021, I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with my Master of Education with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction.
In my spare time, I love spending time at the pool with Ken and Zaila, my nephew and niece. I have many passions outside of teaching, including traveling, pageantry, hiking, and soccer!
I am married to my sweet husband, Braxton. We have two sweet kittens, Bebe and Chia. We love to travel and spend time outdoors.
I am a product of the Washington County School System. I, myself, attended David Crockett High School and Jonesborough Elementary / Middle Schools. I am so proud of the area I am from and the amazing people that this school system produces. I am blessed to have the best students and grateful for the opportunities I have to teach them every day!
If you need to contact me, please email me at duncanb@wcde.org, and I will respond as quickly as possible. Thanks for visiting! :)
