Mr. Allen

Greetings! My name is Mr. Brennan Allen!

I am super excited to be teaching in the 6th - 8th Grade CTE/STEM Lab this year at West View!

Who is Mr. Allen?

I was born and raised in Sevier County and graduated from Sevier County High School. After graduation, I immediately attended Walters State Community College, receiving my Associate's Degree in Elementary Education in one year. Next, I graduated from East Tennessee State University and received my Bachelor's Degree in K-5 Elementary Education with an endorsement to teach 6th-8th Grade Math and Science. After graduation, I started my first year teaching in Sevier County Schools, teaching 6th Grade Math at Northview Intermediate School. Then, I started and finished my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Western Governor's University.

Why is Mr.Allen at West View?

During my first year teaching at Northview, I married my wife, Lexi. While living in Sevierville, we discovered that my wife got accepted into ETSU's Medical School Program! So, we moved to Johnson City so that she could pursue her dream of becoming a doctor! We are living here now, and I can teach the best CLASS EVER - CTE and STEM at WEST VIEW!

What are Mr. Allen's Interests?

Any chance I get, I love to play Ultimate Frisbee and Pickleball. I have played competitive Ultimate with many teams and traveled around the country playing in different tournaments. I just recently started playing Pickleball, and I enjoy it. Additionally, I love playing video games, watching football, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends!

Some other things I like are anything Star Wars or Marvel! I LOVE to build Legos too! If I am going to eat, it is typically Pal's, Cookout, or Texas Roadhouse! Those are all my favorites!
