Welcome to third grade!  This is such an important year for your children.  In third grade, they will begin state testing.  Third grade is full of so much content in all subjects.  It is imperative that your student attends school regularly, so as not to miss much of what we are learning. 

As the Math and Science teacher this year for your third grader, I am so excited for you to see their growth as the year progresses. We will learn multiplication and division, fractions, and we will dive deeper into place values and measurement.  For Science we will learn many things, including but not limited to: Motion, the Solar System, Ecosystems, Energy, Matter, and Engineering and Technology.
