• Hello,

My name is William Jennings. I am replacing the previous teacher in the Behavior Modification program at Boones Creek. Here is a little information about me.

I have a Bachelor's degree in History Education. In 2018, I completed my course work at Tusculum University to obtain my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration on Special Education.

I began education in 2015 with my first position as a one-on-one aide at Chuckey-Doak Middle School in Greene County. After being released in 2017 from the school system, I started a position in the fall at Rock Springs Elementary School as an assistant in their Social Intervention Program. I was there until I accepted a teaching position in Hawkins County in 2020. I had a stint as an Interim SPED teacher at Sullivan Central High School in the spring of 2020.

My first teaching position was a SPED /RTI position at Mcpheeter's Bend Elementary School. The school was shut down at the end of the school year due to consolidation. I was transferred to Bulls Gap School for the second year of teaching. I was the Middle School ELA Resource teacher there. At the end of the school year, my contract was not renewed for the upcoming school year.

In June of 2022, I accepted the position at Boones Creek Elementary School. I hope to cooperate with your child's learning if they are coming to me and how we can help them to where they need to be.
