Since Summer '2018 has been so short, I suppose it is time to say "hello and welcome back!" I am delighted once again to begin my seventh year as a Daniel Boone Trailblazer. After spending twenty-one years in the teaching profession, I still get excited to teach what I feel every student needs to learn. The FACS or Family and Consumer Science, teaches "life-skills." FACS is that class where students do not realize they are learning because all they are doing is having fun. Learning is fun! In this class, we are teammates, friends and eventually family. We encourage, respect and, listen to each other. I expect nothing less than your best behavior, attitude, and effort. It is going to be a fantastic year!
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL...
Now, this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down...oops sorry I was taking it back! Anywho, I am formerly Cassandria (Cassy) Scott from Jonesborough, TN. As a true kid from the other side of the county, I went to Jonesboro Elementary, Middle and yes, I am alumni of David Crockett High School. After high school I went to ETSU and graduated with a degree in Home Economics Education now known as FACS. ETSU is where I met my husband, Major Bristol a native of Kingsport, TN. Together we have three daughters, Infiniti, Injoi, and Indiya. We are a very active family, we can usually be found at some sporting event, traveling or shopping.
