Hello :)

This is my first year tecahing at Asbury Optional High School. I am very excited to be apart of this program and am looking forward to getting to know the students. I received my Bachelor degree of applied science with a minor in physical education and coaching from East Tennessee State University and then continued my academic career receiving my Masters of arts in teaching at East Tenneessee State Univeristy. My concentration is physical education/wellness, I love being active and playing sports. I started my teaching career at Daniel Boone High School as an special education aid in 2019. I coach volleyball and girls basketball at Daniel Boone High School. I have been married for three years and am expecting my first baby girl this September. We are very excited to grow our family. I have a little dog named Toby who is my sidekick and goes everywhere with me. I also have a pet giant rabbit named Sally Mae, she weighs 20 pounds and loves to lay my lap.
