Dr. Jamie Freeman

I graduated from David Crockett High School in 1994. After leaving high school, I attended college for a short period before I enlisted in the United States Army (1995-1999). While in the Army, I continued my college education at Barstow College, CA. When I finished my tour with Uncle Sam, I enrolled in college at Western Kentukcy University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I graduated from WKU with with a double major in History and Social Studies with a certification in secondary education. After I graduated from WKU, I was hired in Washington County Schools, first working at Asbury Optional School then Daniel Boone High School ultimately landing at David Crockett High School. I enjoy reading non-fiction articles and books about history, geography, government, and politics. In my spare time, I grow a vegetable garden during summer break. When I can afford it, I like to travel seeing new sights and meeting new people. I enjoy family time with my wife, son, and siblings and their spouses. Teaching school was my childhood dream!
