Welcome to my Website!

My name is Emily Marshall, and I am an educator of exceptional students at Grandview Elementary.  It is my belief that every student can learn, grow, and thrive, and it is my goal to support, guide, and inspire them to the best of my ability. I am thankful to be able to teach in a school that values the whole child and invests in growing students, according to their unique capabilities.  

This is my 3rd year of teaching at Grandview.  Before that, it was my privilege to teach in Baltimore City, MD.  My family includes my husband, two sons, two cats, and one dog. Before I began teaching, I was a stay-at-home mom, ministry coordinator, and musician.  I have been teaching as long as I can remember, whether it was my little sister and "playing school" as a child to piano lessons in my home.

Teaching is truly my job and my JOY!
