-College Planning Event is on March 19th at 6 with the Dual Enrollment Event to follow at 7:00. ETSU & NES representatives will be here to answer your questions. If you are interested in taking college classes your senior year, you do NOT want to miss this event.
The QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship provides awards that equip outstanding low-income high school juniors with the knowledge necessary to compete for admission to top ranked colleges. If you are a high school junior with a strong academic record and an annual family income of less than $65,000, you are encouraged to apply. Information on how to apply online at https://www.questbridge.org/. Deadline for applications is March 20, 2019.

-You also need to sign up to take the ACT for the April 13th test date. The deadline to sign up for that date is March 8th. You will have to have these scores to see if you qualify to take certain dual enrollment classes your Junior year. If you have any questions, please come and talk to your counselor. SENIORS TN PROMISE-CLASS OF 2019
- BY NOV 1, 2018 - APPLY to the Tennessee Promise Scholarship Program
- BY FEB 1, 2019 - Starting Oct 1, 2018, FILE the 2019-20 FAFSA using 2017 tax records.
- FALL/SPRING - Attend your meeting dates: Oct 17 @ 9:00am in the Little Theatre & MANDATORY March 13 @ 5:30 in the DBHS Cafeteria
- BETWEEN NOV 2, 2018 and BY JULY 1, 2019 - Complete and SUBMIT your first 8 hours of community service
