Welcome to Mrs. Herbert's Sixth Grade Language Arts and Reading website!  On this website you will find helpful information to keep you informed about your child's education.  Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your child's progress.  If you would like to meet at any time for a conference, please email me at herbertd@wcde.org, or call the school to schedule a time.  Mornings generally work best for me due to my busy schedule with my children, but I am happy to make any arrangements necessary!  I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

All students must have a book in class daily.  Work habits marks will be given for each day a student comes to class unprepared.  Please remember that no toys, games, etc. should be brought to school.  If they are taken, they will be given back on the last day of school or a parent/guardian may come pick them up.  Thanks.
