• Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. While we are on this break I will use this website and class dojo to post some art projects. These are optional, but doing some art daily, or when you get the chance, is a great way to stretch your brain muscles. It's also a great cure for boredom! So I hope you'll try some of these projects :)

Since the weather is supposed to be nice today might be the perfect day for some outside art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.
Andy Goldsworthy is a nature artist, meaning he creates art using only natural elements he can find in his environment. These works of art aren't meant to last forever or disrupt the natural ecosystem.

Romero Britto Bold Hearts  you can use markers or crayons.

If you did the found object color wheel you should try the found object value scale, it's a bit more challenging. (You'll need a device or app that can convert your photos to black and white.)

    K-2 Rocketship

this project has a template that you can print out or you can easily draw it for child (it's a collection of simple shapes). Also the video suggests construction paper crayons but regular crayons work fine.

    Zentangle Hands 3-5

this project works best with a sharpie or black marker, but regular pencil will work fine too.

Posted by Lillian Travis on 3/18/2020 9:00:00 AM

To start off here are some videos of art projects using things you probably have at home. For now I will be using videos from YouTube, but I am also trying to make some of my own.

You can take a picture of your finished artwork and post it to class dojo.
