K-8 Speech/Language Activities 4/6-4/9
If you have any questions about your child's specific goals or target sounds, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
If your student is in preschool, check the "Preschool" tab for PK activities to target expressive and receptive communication.
Word lists for specific sounds can be found under the "Word Lists" link.
I encourage all of my K-8 speech students to spend a few minutes each day practicing their target sound!

Additional ideas for targeting language at home:
- Board Games! These are great for following directions, concepts, vocabulary, problem-solving, and sequencing. Not to mention, they are fun and a great family activity! Suggested games include Candyland, HeadBanz, Zingo, Guess Who, Apples to Apples, or even card games for my older students
- Cooking is a fun family activity, as well. This targets following directions, sequencing, and comparisons (compairing measurements, etc), not to mention this a functional task with a (hopefully) tasty result!
- Outside Games - Simon Says, Red Light/Green Light, Follow the Leader
