Welcome to Mrs. Lucas' Class
**Each day I will upload activities I want the students to work on to retain skills we have learned over the school year and also try some new things as well. Please check the "School Closure Assignments/Information" tab to see what to do daily. I know this is a hard time, but together we will get through this.
**If you need to contact me, please reach out on BAND or email me at email@example.com
*Don't forget to check out P.E., Music, Art, Library, and the Counselors webpages as well.
***Each Friday I would love for students to work on their multiplication facts. This is an important skill that I want the students to retain. I would love for them to make a multiplication chart or a list showing the facts they have worked on, or you can print the one I have placed under the tab "Multiplication Fluency Work". Please work on those multplication facts that your child struggles with. I would love for them to put these in a folder and bring to school showing what facts they worked on over this time period.
*At home activities you can do with your child to help them retain skills that have been taught or technology websites they can go to, to practice their skills:
*Get More Math - Students can login with their username and password and practice at home
*iReady - students can login with their username and password and work on lessons specifically made for them. I will also have some lessons I want them to work through if possible.
*Achieve 3000 - Students can login with their username and password and read texts and answer questions related to that text
*BrainPop - Students have free access to this right now - students can make a username and password and watch videos, take a quiz, or play a game related to a certain topic (math, science, social students, etc.)
The MORE that you READ
the more THINGS you will KNOW
the MORE that you LEARN
the more PLACES you'll GO!
