About Our Library Media Center:
Students of Sulphur Springs School have access to over 12,000+ books and reference materials as well an automated library checkout system. Our media center boasts a twenty-five seat computer lab with new Chrome computers. All students in grades K-8 visit both library and guidance during a fifty minute session. Our library curriculum includes reading current as well as classic literature, instruction in library research and technology skills, and computer keyboarding.
Mrs. Serena Yarber is a Jonesborough native and has a Master of Education in Educational Media and Educational Technology with a concentration in School Library Media from East Tennessee State University. This is her 6th year at Sulphur Springs. Mrs. Helen Coleman is a Sulphur Springs native and has been with the Washington County school system for over 30 years! She is an invaluable asset to our library.
