Hello Springs family! This is my third year here as the Assistant Principal of Sulphur Springs, I have been in education for over ten years. Most of my teaching career has been in a pre-k or kindergarten setting with a small amount of time as a fourth grade teacher. I love working with parents and families to help grow their children and provide support in any way possible.
I have been a part of this community my entire life and am a graduate of Daniel Boone High School. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Carson-Newman and my Masters of Education in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Milligan. I received an Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial in Instructional Leadership. It has always been my passion to teach students as well as teachers, and I love that I have that opportunity now.
My husband Nate and I have five children - Caleb, Yazmin, Zah'Kayis, Lelia & Jah'lena. We enjoy biking, swimming, traveling and spending time together at all kinds of sporting events.
