I thought I would tell a little about myself. This is my eighth year teaching. I graduated ETSU with a bachelors degree in math with a certification to teach 7-12 grades. I also have a masters degree in educational administration and an education specialist degree from LMU. I have an amazing wife, Carrie, and a little boy, Eli, who keeps me on my toes. We are expecting our second son in September.
I look forward to another great year of teaching middle school math. I will also be in my second year as the softball coach at South Central. I coached five years of baseball before taking over the softball program last spring.
My goal this year is to grow on what I learned last year and help the students succeed with the continuous growing pressure of the new curriculum. Today's education system is set up to push everyone to the extreme. We will succeed with help from students, faculty, and parents. It takes everyone's help to strive to achieve our best. I appreciate everything the students and parents do to make learning a success.
