  • MONDAY, APRIL 27th 

    3 YEAR OLD ACTIVITIES

    1. Practice saying and spelling your child's name 

    (write or print out his/her name so they can see the letters as you say them)

    2. This week we are working on the Letter Z. 

    Talk with your student about the letter Z. 

    Show them a picture of the letter Z (this is a great visual).

    Model the sound that Z makes. 

    Use this song by Jack Hartman to help talk about the sound that Z makes.

    You may use markers or crayons, but do your best and try to stay in the lines :)

    2. We are continuing our talk about the letter Z.  Complete this Say It, Find It, Read It, Write It activity

    ** This is an activity we do every week, with every letter, so your child will hopefully remember how to complete it **

    They are to: 

    1. Color the pictures at the top

    2. Color each circle that contains the letter Z

    3. Circle each letter Z

    4. Trace the letter Zs and write some on their own

    3. Complete this fun Z mini book by coloring the pictures, cutting the pictures out, and stapling the pictures together in book form

    4. Pick your favorite Pete the Cat book that you've read this week and listen to and read it again!
