Online Student Learning Activities
April 6-10, 2020
- In addition to these daily learning activities, please continue working on your IXL challenge for at least 15-20 minutes each day!
- In addition to working on ELA and Math on www.ixl.com/signin/wcde, students may complete the science and social studies items for third grade.
- Please continue to work on your 20 minutes of reading each day as recommended during the school year. If you do not have access to hard copies of books, you may use the Get Epic website.
- Teachers will receive notifications as students complete assignments on the various online platforms.
- Any written assignments students complete, in addition to online work, should be kept and brought to school upon return. Please remember to add your name, number, and date to each written assignment.
- All AR testing will be paused until we return to school.

Penny Challenge! If you have an extra medicine dropper lying around, fill it up with water, get a penny, and take a guess of how many milliliter droplets it will take to cover the entire penny before any water spills off. Take your time, and squeeze the dropper slowly to let our single droplets. Keep doing it until your penny can’t hold anymore! Take a picture of the penny and send it to your teacher with your guess and how many droplets it actually took to cover the penny.
