Hello,
I'm Kim Nelson and I'm the librarian/media specialist at Lamar.
I live in Bristol,TN with my husband and my son. I have the most beautiful drive to school every morning and every afternoon!
I have received my Bachelor of Science in Education, my Masters in Early Childhood, and my Library/Media Endorsement from East Tennessee State University.
I love to read mysteries, science fiction, and cookbooks. I love spending time at home reading and gardening. I also love traveling with my family.

Mrs. Melissa Arrowood
Hello! My name is Melissa Arrowood and I’m so very excited to return as the Library Instructional Assistant at Lamar this year. I love being able to interact with students in all areas of our school, but especially in the media center where we can learn and grow together while having fun.
My husband, Kenny and I have been married for 13 years and we have 3 wonderful children; K.J., William, and Karliee. We enjoy baseball/cheerleading, dancing, reading, traveling and, most of all, spending time with family.
I am looking forward to an amazing year at LES! Go Cherokees!
