In June, Dylan Thomas represented David Crockett High School and the State of Tennessee at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts. He was awarded the Award of Excellence, certifying his successful completion of the Congress.

Dylan was surrounded by many fellow high school students who share his passion, ability and potential. So many Delegates found new friends to help them reach their dreams and future colleagues to collaborate with.

He watched live surgery and Many Delegates had a chance to question the surgeon in real time.

Bradley Bailey also represented David Crockett High School and the State of Tennessee at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Lowell, MA in June 2018.

During the three-day Congress, Bradley Bailey joined students from across the country and heard Nobel Laureates and National Medal of Science recipients talk about leading scientific research; was given advice from deans of the world's top tech universities; was inspired by fellow teen science prodigies; and learned about cutting-edge advances and the future of science and technology.

The National Leadership Academies support America’s high-achieving high school students through career and focus-area programs and services. By creating the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists, the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists, and the National Academy of Future Collegiate and Professional Athletes, the National Leadership Academies is positioned to support students with skills, motivation, education, mentorship, and unique experiences, so they stay on track to achieve their goals.
