Mrs. Kimberly Osborne

I grew up in Black Mountain, North Carolina and moved to Tennessee in 2001.  I met my husband, Jeff,  here and we have 2 children, Alyssa and Megan.  We live in Jonesborough, TN. We have 2 dogs, a black lab named Knox, and a beagle named Nash.  We also have a cat, Sophie, 2 bunnies, Olive and Peanut, and a chinchilla, Otis!  This will be my 6th year teaching and 5th year at JES.  I taught 3rd grade at Ridgeview Elementary my first year before I joined JES, and was an interim 3rd grade ELA teacher at Tusculum View Elementary before that. I graduated from Milligan College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2019 with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently working on my Education Specialist degree at Walden University.  In my spare time, I love to go to football games to watch the VOLS play and travel.  I also love arts and crafts and photography.  I have a community group, called Jonesborough Rocks, where our community paints and hides rocks to brighten other's day. I am looking forward to many years with Jonesborough Elementary School. Jonesborough has become a special place that is near and dear to my heart!
