• What's the Difference??

Intervention services are provided to students in my classroom through a smaller group learning environment. I meet with my students every day during their grade level RTI time. We work on a variety of reading skills including phonological awareness, reading fluency, and reading comprehension using the research-based curriculums- S.P.I.R.E. and Making Connections.

Inclusion services are available to students in the general education setting. Students are provided with support in their deficit area(s) (ELA and/or Math). Students who participate in an inclusion classroom are able to benefit from the additional support they receive through classroom accommodations/modifications and extra teacher assistance.
