Mrs. Reed

I would like to take the time to introduce and tell you about myself. I am your child’s Special Education Intervention teacher. I am excited to start the year and I cannot wait to learn with your student every day.

I graduated from Tusculum College with an Early Childhood degree in both Special and General Education in 2012. I also have a Master's Degree in Education. I am originally from Carter County, TN. I currently live in Limestone with my husband, Cody, and black lab, Ace. Most of my free time is spent taming Ace, however; when I find the time I enjoy exercising, dancing/acting, and spending time with my family and friends.

Please feel free to contact me by calling the school office or through email (reedj@wcde.org) with any questions or concerns you may have.

Again, I am very excited to work with your student and look forward to meeting you soon!

  • How do I help your student?

Inclusion:  I go into the General Education classroom and assist the teacher and your student during ELA and Math instruction and practice.

RTI:  This is a designated time each day for each grade level where all students are placed in small groups based on their reading level in Tier I, Tier II, or Tier III.  My students come to me to work on deficit areas through intervention.  We use research based programs such as SPIRE and Sounds Sensible.
