• Washington County does not maintain a central Athletics Department with a director. Each school is responsible for their own sports program. Below you will find links to each school's sports website.

Middle School Athletics

  • The Middle School athletic program is entering a new phase with the completion of two additional state-of-the art Sports Complexes. New facilities located at Grandview and Ridgeview schools include eight softball fields, two football stadiums, and baseball fields. Both facilities were developed with the multipurpose objectives of serving schools and community needs as well as raising revenue to enhance the athletic programs. They are ideally situated to provide tournament sites for organizations from outside the area. The revenue resulting from this dual-use will increase the tax base as well as produce direct funds to support middle school athletics.

As members of the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association, our boys and girls participate in interscholastic sports. The opportunity to participate in athletics is available at different levels of middle school competition.
