Hello!  My name is DeeDee Herbert, and I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee.  I received my undergraduate degree from E.T.S.U. in Elementary Education in 1996, and then went on to L.M.U. to complete my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2000.  I am very proud to have been chosen Boones Creek Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2011. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, Abbie and Emily.  Reading, camping, and spending quality time with my family are just several of the things I love!  Being able to teach is such a blessing, and I am honored to be a part of the brandnew Boones Creek Elementary family.   I look forward to a wonderful year with your child.
