Being the assistant principal at West View elementary is a remarkable opportunity that comes with a great responsibility to inspire, empower, and influence our students, as well as have a positive impact on staff, families, and the community in support of our students. As I begin my 3rd year at West View, I look forward to partnering with you to help all of our students be successful in their coursework to prepare them for success in high school and become college and/or career ready.
I spent about 10 years in the classroom teaching Spanish. I have taught all levels from preK-12th grade. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee majoring in Spanish and World Business with a Portuguese minor, a Masters Degree in Education from Milligan University, and I also completed my Doctorate of Educational Leadership in 2019 from Milligan University.
In September of 2022 my husband and I will celebrate 21 years of marriage! We have two boys plus a golden retriever named Honey who pals around with our two cats-Patches and Rexy. My oldest has just graduated high school and will begin his college journey. My younger son is entering his sophomore year of high school.
It is a pleasure to be part of the West View Community and partner with you to provide an excellent educational journey for our students!
“Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”
