The Smartboard is used for interactive learning!
This is our class Writing Center used for PreWriting, Drafting, Editing, Revising, Conferring, and Publishing.
Each student is given a cubby in the classroom to keep journals, notebooks, and folders.
Cooperative learning is a focus in my classroom therefore desks are arranged as table groups with a supply shelf at the end.
The classroom library where books are categorized by author, genre, and subject.
The classroom computers are used for interactive learning, projects, research, testing, and publishing of student work.
This area is used for guided reading in which students work in a small group on specific skills.
The board planner provides an area for students to keep track of assignments and special notes to be recorded in their personal planners.
Students have an opportunity weekly to visit the Listening Literacy Workstation in which they listen to a text and respond through a graphic organizer.
