Since 1925, Key Club has been investing in the lives of students by teaching them the core values of compassion, influence, and inclusiveness through community service and volunteerism. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

  • magic Magic: The Gathering (also known as Magic cards, Magic or just MTG) is a collectible card game.  Our objective is to allow new and veteran Magic players to learn and enjoy the game with others regardless of race, color, intelligence, ethnicity, or age. All you need to participate is a 60 card deck and a willingness to learn. 

     *We meet in the DCHS Library every Monday from 3:00pm-4:00pm

  • FBLA Link Future Business Leaders of America is the largest career student business organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.  FBLA’s mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

  • FTA Logo Future Teachers of America introduces top-performing high school students to a career in teaching. We provide them with basic teaching and leadership skills to mentor elementary school students struggling in reading.  We're building an online library of video lectures hosted by world class literacy professionals to train and inspire the next generation of great teachers.  Our mission is to improve childhood literacy by deploying 10,000 student mentors in classrooms around the country.

  • Rat Rod Logo The FIRST Robotics Competition unites students together each year to program, build, and design a robot to complete a set of tasks. This international organization gives students hands on experience with engineering, science, technology, and business. If technical is not your style, students can get experience with business management, media, and marketing with the other components of the team. Rat Rod Robotics is a joint team between David Crockett, University High, and Danial Boone; that meets every Tuesday after school at 3:30 till 4:00 in NA-6 ( Mr. McAmis’ room).
