Hi Everyone!   Well, we have officially made it to the end of the 2019-2020 school year.  This is definitely one school year that we will never forget.  I have truly enjoyed having each of you in my math class this year.  I just hate that it was cut short and we missed out on so many fun things.  I am thankful that I will still be able to see each of you next year even though you will be in 8th grade.   I want to thank each of you that worked so hard on the online assignments during this Quarantine period.  Your hard work has not gone unnoticed and I know it will pay off next year in Ms. Sander's math class.   I hope that you all have an amazing and relaxing summer.   Please know that I am always here for you anytime that you need anything and don't be a stranger next year.  Love always, Ms. Cooper

For assignments this week, please log on to Sumdog and work on the ongoing review skills.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Have a great week!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all are doing well.  Hearing the news about school being canceled for the rest of the school year this past week really didn't surprise me.  However, it did leave me with an overwhelming sadness.  I started thinking about what all we are going to miss out on, not being able to tell each of you goodbye, as well as many other things.  It doesn't seem real either that we won't be going back.  I know many of you probably have questions about many different things now that it has been made official.  There should be more information provided within the next week or so.  Remember library books need to be turned in at the assigned time this week as well as spring sports uniforms.  As far as assignments go, I will continue posting here on my website each week until May 20th.  The assignments that I have been providing you since we began quarantine are skills that you have learned this year and will continue to use next year in 8th grade.  So, it is important for you to try to complete as much of the assigned lessons as possible.  You will be given credit for completing them and you will have the opportunity to improve your grade so you are not doing them for nothing.  Most of all, I want to make sure you all are prepared as possible for 8th grade Math with Ms. Sanders next year.  I have been telling Jackson the same thing about his assignments and how will help get him ready for 5th grade.  I am proud of those students who have been consistently participating and completing the material I have been posting here on my website.  Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication.  It means so much to me and I hope your efforts will continue over the next few weeks.  Listed below, you will find the assignments for this week.  If you ever need anything at all, please don't hesitate to email me as I am here to help you anytime.  Please take care and stay healthy!  Much love, Ms. Cooper :)
