The vision of Sulphur Springs School is to be a learning community that provides all students with the tools necessary to reach their personal and academic potential.
 
The mission of Sulphur Springs School, in partnership with all stakeholders, is to provide a safe environment where students can learn skills, values, and attitudes to ultimately become productive members of society.
 

 School Counseling Standards
 
Standard 1- Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and skills that contribute to effective learning in school and across the life span.
 
Standard 2- Students will complete school with the academic preparation essential to choose from a wide range of substantial post-secondary options, including college.
 
Standard 3- Students will understand the relationship of academics to the world of work, and to life at home and in the community.
 
Standard 4- Students will acquire the skills to investigate the world of work in relation to knowledge of self and to make informed career decisions.
 
Standard 5- Students will employ strategies to achieve future career success and satisfaction.
 
Standard 6- Students will understand the relationship between personal qualities, education and training, and the world of work.
 
Standard 7- Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and interpersonal skills to help them understand and respect self and others.
 
Standard 8- Students will make decisions, set goals, and take action to achieve goals.
 
Standard 9- Students will understand safety and survival skills.
 

Girls on the Run and Girls on Track are beginning their 2nd season this year. Contact me for more information about volunteering to help these teams prepare for a 5K race in May.

e are learning about personal and social growth during classroom guidance this semester. If your student needs help encourage them to come by the counselor's office.

We want to welcome our student teacher, Clanci Tipton to the Springs.

Our 8th graders are participating in high-school transition activities, including some exciting upcoming field trips.

The Healthy School Team promotes ways to improve our school's health. Join us in better nutrition and more exercise.

TCAP Tests are April 24, 25, 26, and 29. Every classroom needs a volunteer to proctor (sit in the room and verify security measures were followed). Please call the school, if you are available to volunteer from 7:30- 10:30 on those dates.
