A brunch (instead of lunch) will be served early for students!!!
Parents, your child will be bringing home a brochure about the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Math-A-Thon this week (March 24 - 28, 2014). Please look over this and consider letting your child participate in this worthy cause. Each year, we do this as one of our EPIC! project in reaching out and helping our community. If they can participate, please tear off the permission slip and return it to the school as soon as possible for their math-a-thon book. Our goal this year is $3,000.00!
Please return all money and the form for the prizes that your child has earned by April 15, 2014.

In April and May 2013, the Education Consumers Foundation is holding a series of events to recognize the 18 winners of this year's Value-Added Achievement Awards program. These awards acknowledge the great contribution that principals make to the value-added performance of some of the most effective elementary and middle schools in the state. Boones Creek Elementary was presented the award on Tuesday, May 7th for 1st place in East Tennessee and the State of Tennessee!!

A BIG THANKS to our school board members for all you do for our schools! You are greatly appreciated by our school (Boones Creek Elementary) for the hard work you do to keep our school going on a day-to-day basis! We appreciate your dedication to our children, staff, and community. Thanks for the many hours of service that every one of you do as you strive for improvement, excellence, and progress in educating our children. Our deepest appreciation is extended to you for the vital role you play in establishing policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective school system. Our school board and our director of schools are the best group of men and women who work for any school system in our nation!!!!
