After recieving your login and password from the office click the link above to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal.


Kindergarten registration and screening will be held for children entering any Washington County, TN School for the 2016-2017 school year on 
Tuesday, May 17, 2016 between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm at the 
Asbury Family Resource Center. Parent or guardian needs to call (423) 434-4923 or email teachercenter@wcde.org for an appointment. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 15, 2016. 
This is for children who HAVE NOT previously registered or screened to attend kindergarten this fall.

Seventh Grade Immunization Requirements

If your child will be entering the 7th grade in the 2015-2016 school year, you will be receiving parent notification of required immunizations. Your child will need both a Tdap vaccine and second chickenpox vaccine. Your child will need proof (official TN Immunization Record, either from the Health Department or your child's physician) of immunizations by the first day of school. Seventh grade students who do not have the required immunizations documented on the TN Immunzation Record will be excluded until proof is given to the school. If you have any questions, please call:

Washington County Health Department in collaboration with the Johnson City and Washington County School Systems is offering a late afternoon immunization clinic by appointment only for children in the 6th – 12th grades.  This clinic is to assist in better preparing children entering the 7th grade and High School adolescents who plan on attending college in need of required immunizations such as the Tdap, Varicella (Chicken pox), MMR, Meningococcal, and other vaccines parents/guardians may request.

This clinic will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 3:00  at the Washington County Health Department.  Call for your child’s appointment at (423) 975-7940.  If your child has Health Insurance, please bring that information with you to this appointment.  Also bring your child’s immunization history (card).
