Everyday Actions to Stay Well!

1. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Discard the tissue after use.

2. Wash you hands often with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer.

3.Avoid touching you eyes, nose, and mouth. Germs spread this way.

4. Stay at home if you are sick. The CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with the public to avoid infecting them.

Michelle Obama Speaks About School Lunches

During a recent trip to Bancroft Elementary School, Michelle Obama addresses school lunches. She stressed the importance of healthy eating, "the food that our kids are getting in school each and every day is as healthy as it can be, so that we're bringing some of these lessons home and we're also expanding them in the classrooms and in the schools."

In her eyes, school lunch is a learning opportunity- a way to instill lifelong healthy habitsin American children and American families. Maybe they'll spur some changes in the way their whole family eats.

An educational school lunch would raise a generation of children with lifelong healthy eating habits- habits that will reach not just them, but their families too.
