Scholarships

Colleges and universities provide a variety of scholarships for students who demonstrate high academic achievement and who meet other specific criteria for qualification. Scholarship awards are made in the amount of tuition, one-year honorary stipends, and four-year renewable awards. The selection process is highly competitive and may include an evaluation of academic achievement, ACT/SAT results, leadership abilities, financial need and other specific criteria.

Scholarships exist through ROTC Programs, Athletic Departments, and branches of the Military.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) could result in grants, loans, and/or work programs. David Crockett High School provides a Federal Financial Aid Workshop in December or January to help parents and students complete these forms.

Your high school will have scholarships from the State of Tennessee, businesses, national scholarships (Coca Cola), organizations (Elks, Ruritan, etc.) and major companies.

THE BEST SOURCE OF SCHOLARSHIPS IS THROUGH THE COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY TO WHICH YOU APPLY
