The Daniel Boone High School Marching Band is inviting advanced band students from the middle schools to perform with them, in the stands, at the Musket Bowl football game between Daniel Boone and David Crockett high schools. The game is on Friday, October 30 at Daniel Boone high school at 7:30 PM.

Students need to be at the band room at Daniel Boone high school by 5PM. We will walk to the stadium together and set in the stands with the high school band. (Band students performing with the band that night will not have to pay to get into the game.) During the half-time show, we will remain in the stands and watch as David Crockett and Daniel Boone marching bands perform their field show. After their performance, students will have time to visit our concession stand then return to the stands for the remainder of the game.

After the game, students may be picked up in the stadium in the band section. For safety of our students, a parent or guardian must check with Mr. Garst when picking up your child. (If your child will be leaving the game with someone else, please send me a note with whom they are supposed to leave with.) We want to make sure each student is accounted for. Students not picked up in the stadium within ten minutes after the game will return to the band room and will need to be picked up there. Home football games are usually over by 10PM. If you do not stay to see your child perform, we will allow them to call home with approximately 3 minutes left on the clock.

We look forward to having your child perform with us at the Musket Bowl. If you have any questions please feel free to email us at blantons@wcde.org or garstj@wcde.org.
